Stieglitz Museum is a great sample of architectural historic style, which is famous for its inner decorations, reflecting almost all historical epochs and art styles. Built in XIX century since then houses the State Design College. In 1878 the Applied Art Museum exposition was opened for the public.
Stieglitz Museum is located near Fontanka River Embankment and Summer Garden (from western side) and Neva river embankment (from northern side). Located in one of the oldest parts of the St. Peterburg in 5-10 minutes drive from Nevsky Prospect, Grand Hotel Europe, Corinthia Nevsky Palace and other hotels located on main street of St. Petersburg. Entry is from Solyanoy Pereulok.
Main exhibition hall – the Grand Hall is designed as a replica of Florentine courtyard under the glass roof. Entrance to the room is from second floor by beautiful main staircase from Galleries surround the exhibition room. Galleries are decorated by sculptures created by Academy Students.
A cocktail can be served either in the entry room or in the galleries located on the second floor of the main Exhibition room. For big groups’ cocktails the Gallery is more recommended. Various alternatives for catering existing for different budgets. Table settings can be provided in various colours and motives depending on if providing a classical evening / seating or folkloristic themes and table settings with Russian Samovars and Russian Scarf's in stead of tablecloth.
