The Presidential Library was opened on May 27, 2009. It is a federal electronic storage of digital copies of the most important documents on the history, theory and practice of Russian statehood, Russian language, as well as a multimedia multifunctional (cultural, educational, research, information and analytical) status of the national library of Russia.
The status and equipment of the Presidential Library allow regularly holding events of any level and format within its premises - official meetings of state and political figures of Russia and foreign countries, conferences, round tables, seminars, lectures, concerts, presentations, exhibitions, public discussions, workshops and others.
There are specially equipped rooms for their organizations - a conference hall, a transformable multimedia complex, a meeting room, a hall of the Academic Council, an exhibition complex, a methodical room, a panoramic café and others.
CONFERENCE ROOM:
The parade, ceremonial and multifunctional atrium-hall with a total area of about 800 m2 is designed for events of various formats: from conferences, conventions, meetings, receptions, presentations to concert programs.
The room contains 300 seats, a presidium table for 9 workplaces and a rostrum. The table of the presidium and the tribune are equipped with a conference system. If necessary, the number of seats can be increased. The organization of the space can be changed in accordance with the format of the event.
The room is equipped with mobile soundproof panels, wireless conference systems, sound amplification, simultaneous interpretation, stereoscopic projection, large pull-out screen for the demonstration of video materials and eight plasma panels. A video image from the cinema cameras is provided on plasma panels in real time during an event. It is possible to connect remote participants via video conferencing mode and direct Internet broadcast of events.
The room is 773 square meters. Dinner capacity: 400 people, Standing reception: 600 people, Theater style conference: 500 persons.
RECOMMENDED DECORATIONS: no decorations are required, only those ones connected with catering (flowers, ice sculpture)
